Perfil biográfico

Paula Soares Santos licenciou-se em Química (1996) seguido do mestrado em Química (2001, química orgânica, orientadores: Ana Campos e Manuela Raposo) na Universidade do Minho, Portugal.

Em 2005 concluiu o doutoramento em Química (química inorgânica, orientadores: Helena Nogueira e Tito Trindade) na Universidade de Aveiro, Portugal.

Desde maio de 2005 até julho de 2018, Paula foi bolseira de pós-doutoramento no Instituto de Materiais de Aveiro-CICECO:

(i) em ciências e engenharia de materiais sob supervisão de Helena Nogueira e Luís Carlos (05/2010-12/2010),

(ii) em gestão de ciência e tecnologia - RMN, sob supervisão de João Rocha (12/2010-07/2018).

Desde 2013, Paula continua a realizar o trabalho de gestão de ciência e tecnologia do Laboratório de RMN de Estado Sólido da Universidade de Aveiro no CICECO - Aveiro Institute of Materials.

Até o momento (março de 2020), Paula publicou 26 artigos do SCI e outros 2 em revista internacional com arbitragem, com mais de 800 citações (índice h-13), e apresentou várias comunicações (oral e poster) em reuniões científicas.
