Formação Académica: Doutoramento em Engenharia Química - FCT/UNL (1995). 
Licenciatura em Engenharia Química -IST/UTL (1984). 

Actividade Profissional: Professor Auxiliar - Dep. Química/Universidade de Aveiro (desde Outubro de 1995). Professor Auxiliar/Assistente - Dep. Química/Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Março de 1985 a Outubro de 1995). Monitor - DEQ / Instituto Superior Técnico (1983/84).
